Floresita’s Mission
We want to keep building bridges not walls.
The Beginning
Floresita began as a side project between Delilah and her mom Juanita. It was a way for them to share a part of Oaxaca with friends and family. Eventually they began to make deeper connections between the two countries and took a leap of faith, expanding the business into more.
How it’s going now
Now Floresita is a small boutique that has collaborated and shared many handmade crafts from artisans around Oaxaca. They continue to help support and preserve work that has been made with love and care while also empowering and uplifting Oaxaca’s beauty.
Our future goals
Delilah and Juanita are focused on sharing more of the behind the scenes, history and preserving Oaxacas rich culture. They have also began collaborating more with artists to create custom pieces and mix California and Oaxacan styles.
Floresita is an Oceanside based boutique built through direct relationships with artisans in Oaxaca. I travel to meet makers in their towns, learn about their craft, and source intentionally from the communities where these traditions live.
